Old Man Running Song

Brooke and I were going to the gym this morning and we almost hit two old men who were jogging by the round-about on 8th north. I made up a song about it. Brooke hated it, but I haven't had this much fun going to the gym in a long time. Here it goes.

I'm an old man
running in the morning
I'm an old man
looking good for my darling
I'm an old man
running fast, running free
Oh no! I looks like I'm falling.

I'm an old man
who ran every morning
I'm an old man
kept in shape for my darling.
But than one day stummbled and tripped
Than I fell down and broke my hip (OUCH!)

I'm an old man
Laying in bed
I'm an old man
I'm nearly dead
I'm an old man who ran every morning
Didn't help me at all, because my families in mourning.

(I never said it was good!)

Is this an insensitive song? I don't know, but the 7 year-old Jeff was laughing his head off. Sometimes I'm so happy I am still a man-child.
