Marriott vs. Hilton

Brooke and I stayed at the Hilton last night in Downtown and had a glorious night. As we were reflecting on our stay this morning I started thinking about the pros and cons of The Hilton and this is what we came up with.

Hilton

Hilton was 4 stars yet less expensive than the Marriott.
Hilton has a self check-in which makes checking in really easy as well as convenient.
The Hilton where we were staying was near everything. For instance it was located just around the corner from the public transportation. It was also across the street from one of our favorite restaraunts.
At the Hilton the pool opens at 5 am and closes at midnight for maximum poolside fun! It also means that you have a few hours where you can swim without the distraction of teenagers.

However...

Hilton family have two halfwit daughters who I despise.
The room was ghetto for example, a broken lamp, there was not little refrigeratior.
In the morning we had a breakfast buffet that was bland and a little tasteless.
We had to pay for parking.

Marriott

We stayed at a Marriott right around the corner from the Hilton we stayed at last night. This is what we had to stay about it.

Brooke still dreams about the french toast we ate at the Marriott.
Marriott didn't charge us for parking.
The beds at the Marriott left such a strong impression on Brooke that she spent a lot of money on trying to make our bed look and feel the same way.
Marriott family is our kinda peeps.
Marriott folks are the friendliest in the whole wide world. (This is true.)
The Marriott near the Hilton has all the same conveiences.

BUT...The Marriott closes their pool at ten.

All in all, our heart still belongs to the Marriott. Congratulations, we want to write a song about your hospitality.
